Q1 2024: Top Android Navigation Apps in Brazil

In the first quarter of 2024, Brazil's Android users navigated their world with a few key apps. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of the top 5 Navigation and Maps applications.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong user base with weekly active users peaking at 2.56M in the first week and settling at 2.42M by the quarter's end. Downloads showed a slight decline from 195K to 142K over the period.

Google Earth saw a fluctuating download trend, starting at 26K, peaking at 39K in mid-February, and then dropping to 32K towards the end of March. Active users had a high of 317K in mid-January but decreased to 290K by the quarter's close.

For GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation, the app experienced a mid-quarter revenue peak at 739 USD, with downloads reaching 15K in early February before sliding down to 8.8K. Active users mirrored this trend, from 38K to 28K.

The Live Earth Map: Street View 3D app's downloads were modest, starting at 11.7K and ending the quarter at 6.5K. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, from 16K down to 11.3K.

Lastly, GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic showed varied revenue numbers, with a notable peak of 691 USD in mid-February. Downloads had a high of 14.7K in the first week, but dipped to 6.4K by the end of March. Active users decreased slightly from 38.8K to 29.6K over the quarter.
